What does the Bible say about forgiving one another?
Lovely ones, I wish you to fallow this teaching carefully. As the scripture, teaches us more about the nature of God by calling Him the God of Love and Forgiveness.
Let us look at the conversation of Jesus and Apostle Peter, which concerned Forgiveness,
Matthew 18: 21-23,
Then Peter came to Him and said,”Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said him,” I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
Hearing the answer of Jesus, it is look as if He meant eternal forgiveness.
Satan disobeyed God in the heavens, and He decided to cast him out.
Revelation 12: 12,
Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.
It seems, as God knew the evil work of the devil very well and thrown him on earth so that devil could be a big problem to people. Later on God sent his Son to save people, He died and rose and went back in the heavens.
Let me ask the readers some few questions:
[if !supportLists]1) [endif]Why the God of forgiveness did not forgive Satan?
[if !supportLists]2) [endif] As Jesus went back with the keys of Death and hell, and left Satan among people, do you think that He completed his mission?
[if !supportLists]3) [endif]As a powerful Father, how sad is to see your enemy maltreating your sons and daughters and you don’t arrest him.
